Legal contracts, medical records, financial statements, court filings — the documents our customers translate are private by nature. Here is exactly how we keep them that way, from upload to delivery.
Traditional translation agencies route your files through networks of freelance translators, editors, and reviewers. Every hand-off is a person reading your document.
Lekhak works differently. Documents are translated by an automated AI pipeline. No external translator ever opens your file. Human access is limited to our own support staff, on a need-to-know basis, only when you ask us for help with a specific job — and that access is logged.
We process documents through enterprise-grade cloud AI services under commercial terms that prohibit the use of customer content for model training. Your documents make your translation — nothing else.
We do not sell, share, or license your content or your data to anyone.
Enterprise customers with specific data-residency requirements — talk to us.
For certified translations we work with a small set of trusted, vetted partners. Two rules govern every engagement:
Payments are handled by PCI DSS Level 1 certified processors — PayPal and Razorpay. Your card and bank details go directly to the processor and never touch Lekhak's servers.
Files you run through our free PDF & Word tools (compress, merge, convert, and 20+ more) are processed and deleted the moment your download completes — including uploads that are cancelled midway. Nothing is stored, ever.
Working on something sensitive? We're happy to sign your NDA or confidentiality agreement before you upload a single page. Send it to [email protected].
No system is completely immune to risk — anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. What we promise is care, encryption, honest scope, and fast response.
Found a vulnerability, or have a security question? Write to [email protected]. Security reports are read with priority.
