4. Pricing, Credits & Usage Limits
Free Trial Credits
- New Users: Lekhak offers limited free trial credits ("Trial Credits") to allow first-time users to evaluate the platform
- Page Tracking: Current credit balance and usage displayed in your dashboard
- Document Truncation: If document exceeds limit, only first N pages processed
- Trial Changes: We may modify, revoke, or withdraw Trial Credits at any time with reasonable notice
Trial Eligibility
Trial Credits are limited to one (1) trial per individual or organization.
For the purpose of these Terms:
- "Individual" means a unique natural person, regardless of the number of email addresses, accounts, or identities used.
- "Organization" means any legal entity, business, agency, firm, partnership, or group of users with common ownership, control, affiliation, or billing relationship.
Prohibited Trial Abuse
Creating multiple accounts or identities to obtain additional Trial Credits beyond the permitted limit is strictly prohibited and constitutes misuse of the platform. This includes but is not limited to:
- Repeated account creation for trial access
- Use of disposable or temporary email addresses to circumvent trial limits
- Creating accounts on behalf of the same organization to access repeated free usage
- Any attempt to disguise identity or evade platform safeguards
Any such activity will be treated as a violation of these Terms.
Right to Link Accounts
Lekhak reserves the right to associate, link, merge, or aggregate multiple accounts that appear to be operated by the same individual or organization, using any reasonable means of identification available to us.
Post-Payment Trial Restriction
Once any account associated with an individual or organization has made a payment or entered into a commercial agreement with Lekhak, all associated accounts lose eligibility for Trial Credits going forward, unless explicitly authorized in writing by Lekhak.
Credit Adjustment and Recovery
In the event of misuse, abuse, or violation of these Terms (including Trial Credit abuse), Lekhak reserves the right to:
- Revoke unused Trial Credits or promotional credits
- Deduct equivalent paid credits from the user's account
- Convert Trial Credit usage into paid usage at applicable rates
- Reverse credits obtained through misuse
Lekhak will make reasonable efforts to notify the user of any credit adjustment, though such notification is not a precondition for the adjustment.
Trial Credits and promotional credits are discretionary and do not constitute an entitlement.
Paid Plans
Lekhak offers credit-based paid plans:
- Purchase credits via our secure payment gateway
- Credits used per page based on job type and language
- Custom pricing available for enterprise/B2B customers

Payment Terms
- Credits purchased via Razorpay (or other supported payment gateways)
- Prices in INR (or local currency as applicable)
- GST invoices generated automatically for all payments
No Refund Policy
All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. Credits once purchased can only be consumed on the Lekhak platform and will not be refunded under any circumstances. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy. This does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
5. Your Content & Our Use
Your Ownership
- You own your content - uploaded documents and translations belong to you
- You retain all intellectual property rights
License You Grant Us
By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:
- Process, translate, and validate your documents via AI
- Store files temporarily (30 days max)
- Generate metadata for analytics (NOT your actual content)
This license ends when:
- Files are deleted (30 days max, or sooner if you request)
- Your account is terminated
What You Can't Upload
Prohibited Content:

- ❌ Content that infringes intellectual property rights
- ❌ Malware, viruses, or malicious code

Misuse:

Organizational Responsibility
Organizations, agencies, and businesses are responsible for all activity conducted under accounts reasonably associated with them, including those created by employees, contractors, vendors, or agents. Agencies or translation companies using Lekhak on behalf of clients must procure a single organizational account with appropriate paid credits. Using multiple trial accounts to service client work constitutes commercial misuse.
Right to Refuse Service
Lekhak reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or organization that has previously violated these Terms, including preventing new account creation.
Consequences
Violations may result in:
- Revocation of credits and trial access
- Suspension or termination of individual or associated accounts
- Reversal or deduction of credits obtained through misuse
- Withholding of services until outstanding usage is settled
- Legal action if necessary
7. Translation Accuracy & Disclaimers
AI-Generated Content
Our Service uses advanced AI technology for translations:
- Not 100% Accurate: AI may make errors, especially with complex content
